We took a look at what regions have fared the best on the state level throughout the history of PA Legion Baseball.  Here's an interesting look at how many state championships each region has won, and which team won the last one.

Please note that teams have changed regions over time, and to keep things consistent, champions are listed by their current region only.  So, if a team won a championship in Region 8, but is now located in Region 6, that title is listed under Region 6.

Region 2: 49 state championships, last by Doylestown in 2012

Region 3: 10 state championships, last by Bristol in 2011

Region 4: 7 state championships, last by Hanover in 1999

Region 5: 5 state championships, last by South Scranton in 1966

Region 6: 14 state championships, last by Blackhawk in 2003

Region 7: 2 state championships, last by State College in 2001

Region 8: no state championships
