American Legion Baseball

The 2012 American Legion Baseball World Series commences Friday morning in Shelby, North Carolina.  Eight regional champions will vie for legion baseball's top prize.  You can catch all of the action live at espn3.com.  Stats and other information from the tournament can be found here.

Northeast (Region 1): Milford, CT (30-6)

Mid-Atlantic (Region 2) : Brooklawn, NJ (55-3)

Southeast (Region 3): Florence, SC (40-5)

Mid-South (Region 4): New Orleans, LA (37-6)

Great Lakes (Region 5): Moline, IL (48-7)

Central Plains (Region 6): Omaha, NE (48-8 )

Northwest (Region 7): Bellevue, WA (36-13)

West (Region 8 ): Lakewood, CA (23-6-1)

Game 1: Lakewood (CA) vs. Omaha (NE), 9:30am

Game 2: Bellevue (WA) vs. Moline (IL), 1pm

Game 3: Milford (CT) vs. New Orleans (LA), 5pm

Game 4: Florence (SC) vs. Brooklawn (NJ), 8:30pm
