Posted by Legion Baseball on June 19, 2015 at 5:30 PM

A few familiar names sit atop the Berks County League's east division.  The Bulldogs and Bears are a combined 18-2 in league play thus far.  NorChester (10-1) enjoys a one game lead over Boyertown (8-1).  NorChester's lone league loss has come at the hands of Boyertown in the league opener.  Since then, the team has shut out five opponents (including a five inning perfect game) and outscored its opponents 115-25.  Boyertown's success has come from winning close games, their lone loss was suffered in a 10-7 game at Shillington.  Daniel Boone (2-7) and Twin Valley (1-6) are both seven games back of first place.

Exeter leads the league's west division with a 7-2 record, with their only two losses against Boyertown and NorChester.  They currently have a 2.5 game lead over secon place West Lawn (5-5).  Shillington (2-6) and Conrad Weiser (0-7) round out the division standings.
