Late Night Rally Sends Boyertown Into Regionals
|
|
By virtue of being the lone undefeated team left in the Berks County League playoffs, Boyertown had the luxury of needing just one win out of the possible two scheduled games against long-time rival Shillington on Tuesday evening. Despite facing an early four run deficit, the second-seeded Red Sox rallied back against Boyertown's pitching staff and handed the Bears their first loss of the week.

Fort Washington, the defending league cha...

Bux-Mont Tournament Led By 'Underdogs'

Over the span of the last decade or so, many teams in Region 2's Bux-Mont League have made a name for themselves and the league as a whole. Hatfield and Nor-Gwyn have both won state titles (in 2002 and 2005, respectively) and Pennridge was the state runner-up last season.
Perhaps it came as no surprise that Hatfield was at the top of the league standings again after this year's regular seas...
