American Legion Baseball

A slew of updates have been posted for all of the leagues in Region 2.  The most up to date results can be found on the Region 2 schedule/results page and each of the standings pages has been updated as well.  As always this time of year, weather and high school playoffs have caused a large number of postponements.

If you don't see your team/league's schedule posted please forward it to us at [email protected] and we'll get it up as soon as possible. 

Please don't forget that we're always looking for help with score reporting and inputting.  If you have scores you don't see on the site, please pass them along.  If you may be interested in inputting scores for your team or league please email us and we'll get you set up to do so, it only takes a few seconds to do...

The game schedule for the York County League in Region 4 has been posted to the site on the Region 4 schedule/results page.  Up to standings for the eighteen team league can be found on the York County League page under the Region 4 tab.

The postseason tournament information for youth (junior) and senior legion has been posted on the site's 'postseason' page.  The page can be accessed by clicking on the postseason tab in the navigation bar.

The page includes the date and host location for the youth regionals and state tournament as well as senior regionals, states, national regionals, and the World Series.

All 525 Region 2 league games have been posted on the site.  You can access the schedule by clicking on the Region 2 tab at the top of the page.  The results will be updated as often as possible.  If you have score information please email us and we'll get it up as soon as possible, thanks!

Schedules for the Lancaster County League and Cumberland County League have been added to the site.  As with many other leagues around the state, several games have been postponed due to high school playoffs.

The schedules for every team in the Schuylkill-Berks League in Region 2 have been added to the Region 2 schedule listing.  Please note that a number of games have already been postponed due to high school playoffs. 

The Cambria County League will utilize three divisions for the upcoming season using the following format:

North: Ebensburg, Lilly, Patton, Portage

Central: Cernic's, Richland, St. Michael, Stoystown

South: Bedford, Claysburg, Somerset

The site's links page has been updated to reflect sites in use for the 2015 season.  If you know of a league site we may have missed please let us know.

We have updated our forum page and it's ready to host PA legion baseball discussions.  The forums can be accessed through the heading in the navigation bar.  A site membership is required to post.  Please take a few minutes to sign up and join the discussion.

We are pleased to announce that the available schedules for all seven regions have been posted to the site.  The schedule pages can be accessed by clicking on the region name in the navigation bar.  Additional schedules will be posted as they become available.  Once the season starts results will be posted on these pages as well.

The Northampton County League in Region 2 has re-aligned to three divisions for the upcoming season.  Kemp Post will not be fielding a team in 2015 and, as a result, the North Division has been dissolved.  East Stroudsburg will move to the East Division, Big Pocono will move to the West Division, and the Birches will move to the South Division.

The Chester County League of Region 3 has added two teams (Kennett and West Chester) for the upcoming season, giving the league twelve teams in total.  Kennett will play its games at Unionville High School while West Chester will play at West Chester East High School.  Field locations for all twelve teams can be found on the Chester County League page.

A new page has been added to the growing 'legion history' pages on the site: a page dedicated to the history of the national regional and sectional tournament champions dating back to 1926.  

The format of the national regional tournaments held between the state and national championship tournaments changed format several times throughout legion history. From 1926 to 1935 east and west sectional champions were crowned. Between 1936 and 1959 four sectional championship...

The Schuylkill-Berks League of Region 2 has switched from its previous two division alignment to a new three division layout.  Previously, the league has employed a north division that was comprised of Schuylkill County teams and a south division comprised of Berks County teams.  This summer, a third central division will incorporate several teams from the existing north and south divisions.
